Alone in the crowd
Surrounded by dark thoughts
I have to face it will be done with or without me
You cannot complain
For I’ve been ‘round you for so long
It tears me apart but it’s the way it’s gonna stay

I feel left behind, lost, abandoned

So, tell me:
What’s the purpose of this all?
What it’s the meaning of life?
Giving your best ‘till it fades away?
I feel really sad
For nobody ever gives me a hand
I have to face it it’s up to me but it’s really hard

For days and nights
I tried to wipe your tears away
But there’s no way you see I’d die to make you feel free
I feel left behind, abused, betrayed

Extortion, despair, confusion, delusion

So, tell me:
What’s the purpose of this all?
What it’s the meaning of life?
Giving your best ‘till it fades away?
What do I want to live for?
I keep on struggling, hurting and crying!
