Twilight
"JUST WHY?" These words hurt me so,
as I stand in disbelief at the rain felt on my cheeks.
How can it be raining when the sky is this blue?

"I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND."
Why was I born a demon, different from the humans?
Just where should I search for the answer?
I keep on asking, while my voice resounds emptily.
Since the crows are already screeching,
people start to head for their homes. I grow envious,
and am now searching for a place that I can return.
Even the twinklings of the stars of the whole sky
will become blurry from the waking light of the day.
Although I am still imprisoned in darkness right now,
morning will surely come to shine upon me.
"I WILL BECOME STRONG,"
not for myself, but for the exorcism;
I will exorcise all the demons lurking
in people's hearts, as the people live on.
I feel some sentiment, having lived through this flowing era.
The scattering flowers are so lovely,
that, unable to forget them, I now search for them.

Twilight's radiance will shine
and color me whiter than anyone else.
The illusions floating within
the dark clouds' gaps will become exposed.
Even the entire group of flowers
scattered in the brief moment as I looked down.
Tomorrow, too, I will live gasping in pain,
while believing that my effort will be answered.
