My exoskeleton

My exoskeleton
people tell me that i'm too young
people tell me things it's no fun
people scare me; i want to run
but i'm stuck in here with everyone

i'm hiding behind my exoskeleton
i'm crying; don't want to be like everyone
don't ask me why i don't want to hang out just for fun
i'm not anyone
i can't do this
i cannot see it through this
my mother told me not to be afraid
but i keep looking the other way
please help me to find my peace of mind
before i lose it again
