New Bird
Bird that flew away, to a foreign place,
won't come back unchanged.
sleepless as i lay, in my laboured state,
who would rather say:- "i want a new bird?"
my lover?
Sold myself away in the u.s.a. what a price i paid.
hard 'tis to believe,
that they'd never seen salted waters green
