There’s a hotel on a hill
And the food won’t make you well
But there are many other reasons to stay
There’s always people in their rooms
Watching the sky in all its gloom
They stay out casting all the bad dreams away
And I know you’d like to stay
But the rooms are full today
So looks like you’ll have to stay sad
But if you’d like we could reserve a double bed or two for you

And there’s a road that takes you there
And there’s a million flight of stairs
You have to climb to find the hotel
Stairs are wind around the hotel
It’s not you’re average kind of motel
