Trying to find an escape so you drink and smoke

Our generations lost, n we needa’ go get her
so many of us got folks that don't get us
it's not the same as it was, their mentality's stuck
in their old ways, but it's not the same

In the past 20 years things have really changed,
We’ve lost our sense of hope; n lost our sense of pride
I wanna change the way I think, at least I’m going to try.
