Dirtroads To Destiny
If i could run away to a place
where it doesn't seem that everything's decided for me
i would choose a life
without the spider webs around my face
where i could cut the chains and save myself from this

but now i know the difference between
dreaming something and making it your life
like a broken heart with pieces you cant find
now i feel the burn
with a trail of destruction at my heels
go slowly now
fall in
i'm out
this line is way too long for this
lying
about
what it is in life to hit or miss
i'm staring down the path
and the path is staring back just as before
but its not the way you say
so i guess i walk alone now i guess i walk alone
now down a path that's seen so few before me
and though my feet are bleeding
step by painful step i make my way
let them bleed
fall in
i'm out
this line is way too long for this
lying
about
what it is in life to hit or miss

in the time it takes this breath to leave my face
untainted ill be leaving this place for good
