And I bet you wonder why
I can't look you in the eye
When I see you sometimes at the show....
And I always wonder how
you can keep your head about
As we pass you smile at me
Though I always turn away
I'm trying to repay
All those smiles that I never return
Now the days they seem so long
Because I'm all alone
It makes me wonder how it could ever have come to
Such a decision as this
