What have we done to the river, father?
There is no fresh water to quench our thirst.
Silvery... no longer flowing
No fish, no moss growing
What have we done to the forest, father?
That looks dark and sick
No bears, no wolves like before
nothing green anymore!

The air smells terrible!
Only dust, that blinds us.
While we breathe, it hurts!
What have we done to the soil, Father?
That seems dry and dead.
Among the ruins we will have to sow!
Upon the filth, we crawl!

let the rain kiss the stony road,
Timely rain, that washes away the tears
That put out the fires of sadness.
Father let it rain, in the dead forest,
in the dead meadows and valleys.
may it run over the parched land,
So the green, will grow again!
Allow this rain father,
That pure rain that wet the wolf cubs
Let them discover the world
may this rain, quench their thirst.
