Sleipnir
Who are the twain
That on ten feet run
Three eyes they have
But tail only one?
Good is thy riddle
And guessed it is
That’s Odin riding
The lord of horses Sleipnir
He would run through lands
Skies and seas
Through the nine worlds of Yggdrasil
He’s light would end
All endless nights

He carries All-father
From his mighty hall
From battle to battle
He’s stronger than all
Like fire
he rides to the north
Eight legs of wind
Venturing forth
