I spend alot of time wishing
i was someone else
and i wish i could face
the world that presents itself,
but when i feel my heartbeat
slowly fade away
and i see no reason to stay
i jumpship.
You spend alot of time
wishing you were in love
with someone else
'cause when your lover does you wrong
you place the blame on yourself
how you gonna fly
with a wheel chained to the ground?
when i see no reason to hang around
i jumpship.
We spend alot of time
wishing we had grown up
somewhere else
because our mommys and daddys
were not always mums and daddys themselves.

like hell we're gonna learn
