Crossing Field
All this pride that I display
That I bring with me everyday,
I am so wrong.
And so scared.
Curse my damned façade!
My desire to appear as though
I'm just fine, not broken.
As I sort through my past
I realize
Have I even grown?
Have I nothing left to show?

This cannot be.
I will now put the past behind!
Away anxiety!
I know that I am meant
For more than I can see!
Grant me the courage now, I pray,
To cease all of my pains,
My doubts, my tears, my fears,
That keep me from your side.
I hope you are near,
I can't do this alone!
When will these dreams of mine
Become my own reality?
