So many times I thought that I was right
They didn’t understand, don’t try to mess me around (I say)
I was so young and didn’t realize
You have always been there by my side (I sure know)
And every time you had to make a choice
Whether you stay or go, should you take the easy road? (Im sure)
You always took the path of sacrifice
The one that gave us the best in life.
