Liars and bigots wherever I turn
I don’t want to hear a single word
stick and burn
Killers and whores and American dreams
and nothing is ever more than it seems
‘cept the screams
And I know nothing
will ever change our ways

I don’t even know why I care
It’s indisputable that life will always be unfair
The devils authority was never in doubt
when humanity got up and about
Fear of the dark must have driven us mad
when we can’t understand just what we might’ve had
