I haven't been myself all year
too many changes around here
and the road to happiness has been a crash course
it's been a long year since you left
and a whole week since I last slept
dusting myself off to ride the wild horse

Don't know where I'm going
or just what it means
but the scars remind me of exactly where I've been

because of the state of mind I'm in
there's a million places I swore I would be by now

I almost played in to that whole game
but the boy's club hung a sign that said "no girls allowed"
