Darkest Hour
There are dark knights in each corner of my room
They come closer and I hear them whisper
We will be back soon
The walls come closer
They try to protect me
Somebody says
You will never be free
My thoughts disappear in a cloud of doubts
I am drowning in an ocean of fear
When the lights go out

So here I am in a room with no doors
Black liquid is running down the walls
I can hardly breathe in this black liquid shower
Welcome to my darkest hour
A black flower has grown up in the middle of my heart
And the world outside seems to fall apart
Is this the meaning of existence
To be the universe that is thinking about itself anyway
There is no need to cry because it will never be heard
There is no need to struggle because you know it’s absurd
There is no need to survive because you are not allowed
to die
To stay here for eternity and not knowing why
